Dial-up access to OPS Manager via the 7100 MAP

The 7100 MAP provides access to the OPS Manager server but not to any of its
network elements (devices managed by OPS Manager). If you need to manage any
of these network elements, they must be added to the 7100 MAP device's list of
managed devices, and you must access them separately and directly through the
7100 MAP.
Note: You must configure the default gateway of the 7100 MAP device if the network
element is on a different subnet. From the main configuration menu, go to System
Settings, and configure the default gateway.
You must have an OPS Manager account to access the server. If you have a valid
accound, with access to OPS Manager via the 7100 MAP, you can conduct MAC
(Moves, Adds, and Changes) sessions as well as backups and restores of the OPS
Manager database.
To access the OPS Manager server
1. Double-click the dial-up connection to the 7100 MAP icon on your desktop.
The 7100 MAP will verify your username and password. Note that the 7100
