PROBABLE CAUSE
Ignition module
Ignition electrodes
damaged or worn.
No voltage
Pressure switch override.
High limit switch override.
Improper burner air
adjustment.
Fuel solenoid valve failure.
Water in the fuel oil.
Dirty fuel filter/water
separator.
Dirty fuel nozzle.
Fuel pickup screen
obstructed.
Improper air adjustment
setting.
Fuel pump malfunctioning.
Poor or improper fuel
supply.
Low fuel pump pressure.
Dirty fuel nozzle.
Improper air adjustment
setting.
Scale build up in heat
exchanger coil.
Low on fuel.
Excessive air supply.
Insufficient air supply.
REMEDY
Consult your Customer Service
With unit running and trigger
gun closed, look through burner
sight glass to ensure there is
sparking across electrodes.
Consult your Customer Service.
Pressure should be over 250
PSI/18 Bar to allow burner to
come on.
Unit will automatically reignite
when cool.
Adjust as explained on page 26.
Replace.
Drain fuel filter/water separator.
Drain fuel tank, and replace with
clean fuel.
Replace element.
Replace.
Consult Customer Service.
Adjust as explained on page 26.
Replace.
Check fuel to ensure it is
correct. Drain tank and replace
filter if necessary and refill with
proper fuel.
Check fuel pump pressure,
adjust or replace if needed.
Replace.
