• The FTP session will be run in the current directory and all retrieved files will be recorded
to that directory. To have the files retrieved to a directory other than the C: drive root, open
the Windows Explorer first and select the desired directory before issuing the Run
command.
The FTP terminal window is then opened and a connection verification message and
User name request appears.

The password characters are not echoed on the screen and the terminal window displays
a confirmation of login.

Configuration File Download
Use the following procedure to download a DNS.DAT or OFDD.VHO file from the KX-
TDA0480 using an FTP session.
1.
To access the OFDD.VHO file directory type following command at the FTP prompt and
press the Enter key.
ftp> cd VHUB/OFD
The FTP terminal displays a confirmation of the directory change.
