Troubleshooting

No Sound

Check following steps.
Check audio output circuit.
C heck speaker, connection of the terminal "K8F"
Check if the 12V power
supply is observed at
pins 13 of IC5001.
Yes
NO sound with PC1, PC2
HdMI, MCI or VIdeO Au-
dio input source.
Yes
Yes
Check if the audio signal
is observed at pins 5 and
8 of IC5031.
No
Check IC5461 and peripheral circuit.
ON:ON_5V high.
No
Check IC5001 and peripheral circuit.
Check the PC1 AUDIO_IN signal at pins 6 and 16 of IC5001,
pins 11 and 1 of K00.
Check the PC AUDIO_IN signal at pins 5 and 17 of IC5001,
pins 17 and 18 of K00.
Check the HDMI signal at pins 4 and 18 of IC5001.
Check the MCI signal at pins  and 19 of IC5001.
Check the VIDEO AUDIO_OUT signal at  and 0 of IC5001,
pins 9 and 10 of K00.
No
Check IC501, 5V_AUDIO and peripheral circuit.
Check the Mute signal at pin 1 of IC501. The Mute signal is output from
pin 50 of IC 01<Scaler>. The OUT_DET signal is sent from Audio Out
terminal.
Mute-On: H at pin 50 of IC01, L at pin1 of IC501
