Troubleshooting

No Sound

Check following steps.
Check if the audio sig-
nal is observed at pin 10
or 21 of IC5001.
Yes
Check if the audio sig-
nal is observed at pin 5
of IC5101.
Yes
Check if the audio sig-
nal is observed at pins
14 and 17 of IC5101.
Yes
Check audio output circuit.
Check IC5101, speaker, connection of the terminals "K20Q".

Motor problems

Zoom Motor
Focus Motor
Check audio input circuit and IC5001 peripheral circuit.
No
Check the following pins of IC5001;
pins 1, 30: PC1 audio L/R input
pins 2, 29: PC2 audio L/R input
pins 4, 27: video audio L/R input
No
Check IC5001 and peripheral circuit.
Check Q5031, Q5036, Q5041 and peripheral circuit.
No
Check IC5101 and peripheral circuit.
Check the mute signal<MUTE_OUT> at pin 7 of IC5101.
L: mute on
Check that the mute signal output from pin 13 of IC1367<D/A>.
Zoom motor drive signals are output from pins 6,7 of IC6551<D/A>, con-
trolled by IC801<Sub CPU> via the bus line<SCL1/SDA1>. The
ZOOM+,- signals are applied to pins 4,5 of IC5551<MOTOR DRIVE>
and output from pins 1,7.
Focus motor drive signals are output from pins 4,5 of IC6551<D/A>,
controlled by IC801<Sub CPU> via the bus line<SCL1/SDA1>. The
MANUFO+,- signals are applied to pins 2, 12 of IC5511<AUTO/MANU-
AL-SW> . The AUTOFO +,- signals are applied to pins 1, 13 of IC5511
from the passive sensor. The FOCUS +,- signal selected by the FOCUS-
SW signal at pin 9-11 are output from pins 15,16. The FOCUS+,- signals
are applied to pins 4,5 of IC5501<MOTOR DRIVE> and output from pins
1,7. The FOCUS-SW signal is output from pin 14 of IC1366<D/A>, con-
trolled by the IC301<SYSTEM CONTROL>.
