Switching ON and OFF

1. Switch on the vacuum cleaner by pressing the ON/OFF switch
(4) in direction I. Only switch the vacuum cleaner by pressing the
ON/OFF switch and not by pulling out the power cord from the
socket.
2. Switching off the vacuum cleaner by pressing the ON/OFF
switch in direction O.
3. If you do not use the vacuum cleaner, unplug from power mains
and lift up the handle to make sure the vacuum cleaner is in the
upright storage position.

Emptying the Dust Container

Empty the dust container in due time, to maintain the strong suction
power of the vacuum cleaner.
1. First switch off the vacuum cleaner and pull the power cord
before removing the dust container.
2. Press the releasing button (6) and pull out the container.
3. Empty the dust. If necessary, gently tap out the dust container.

Cleaning the Filters and the Floor Brush

 To increase self-life of the filter and to maintain the suction power
of the vacuum cleaner, clean the filters in regular intervals.
 If the filters become very dirty wash the filters under running
water. Allow the filters to dry completely before re-inserting into
the device. Do not wash the filters in the washing machine and
do not dry the filters in the dryer or on the heater!
 Remove hair and large dirt particles from the suction opening to
maintain strong suction power of the cleaner.
