    Charging the battery (fig. D) • Make sure that the appliance is switched off. The battery will not be charged with the on/off switch (4) in the on position. • Place the appliance on the charging base (7) as shown. The charging indicator wil be lit.

    • Brush any loose dust off the filter (12). • To remove the pre-filter, rotate the pre-filter counterclockwise and carefully slide it clear of the dust container. • The dust container can be cleaned. Wipe with a damp cloth or rinse with warm soapy water and allow to dry.
