Carrot Raisin Salad

large carrots, shredded (use Shred disc)

stalk celery, sliced (use Slice disc)

cup (125 ml) raisins

cup (125 ml) mayonnaise or salad dressing

teaspoon (5 ml) lemon juice

bowl: process carrots and celery. Stir in remaining ingredients.
Serve cold.
Makes 6 servings.

Cole Slaw

small head cabbage, sliced (use Slice disc)

small onion, shredded (use Shred disc)

large carrot, shredded (use Shred disc)

cup (60 ml) white wine vinegar

cup (250 ml) salad dressing

cup (125 ml) white sugar

bowl: process cabbage, onion, and carrot.

Pour enough dressing over salad to coat. Mix well, cover and refrigerate 6 to
8 hours. Drain any excess liquid, toss and serve cold.
Makes 4 servings.
