Step 5. Attach The Hose Weights And Assemble The Hose
The Kreepy Krauly hose comes in sections which must be assembled. You will also have to attach
hose weights to the hose section(s). Hose weights are necessary to neutralize the hose's buoyancy
in water. The number of hose weights required is determined by the maximum depth of your pool.
The deeper your pool, the more weight is needed. Three weights are supplied.
The number of hose weights appropriate for your pool is explained in Table A. You can attach the
hose weights while you assemble the hose. Dampen the hose ends with water and connect a female
end to the male end of the previous
section, as illustrated in Figure 7.
One of the hose sections is fitted with 2
female ends and a hose protector. This
section should be fitted last and attach
to the pool's vacuum connection, as
described in the "Installation" sections
which follow.
