The Setup Menu

The Setup Menu allows you to customize the GPSmap 76CS to your
personal preferences. Each selectable setup page is identified by an icon,
which when highlighted displays the page when you press ENTER.
To access the Setup Menu:
1. From the Main Menu select the Setup icon and press ENTER.
2. With the Setup Menu displayed, select the feature you wish to
modify and press ENTER.
3. Instructions for modifying features are explained in the sections
that follow.

System Setup

The System Setup Page allows you to select from four modes of GPS
operation, enable/disable WAAS (see page 93), designate battery type cur-
rently being used to power your unit, choose a display text language, set
options for operation when disconnected from an external power source.
To change a System Setup feature:
1. Use the ROCKER and ENTER keys to select the feature fi eld
and setup options.
2. With an option for a fi eld highlighted, press ENTER to select.
To view the software version, press MENU and
select "Software Version".
