Timer

The cooktop has a timer which can be
used to time activities in the kitchen
and/or automatically turn off the
burners. Both functions can be used
simultaneously.
A time between 1 and 99 minutes can
be set. The time can be decreased or
increased with the - or + touch control.
To set the display back to 00 press -
and + at the same time.
If multiple times are programmed, the
time which elapses first is displayed. If
this time is allocated to a burner, the
respective indicator will flash.

Setting the timer

The timer can be set with the cooktop
either on or off. The timer can be set
from 1 to 99 minutes.
^ Touch the m sensor.
To set the timer when the automatic
turn off is programmed for one or more
burners: Press the sensor m until all
indicators of the programmed burners
light steadily and the display shows 00.
The display shows 00.
^ Touch the - or + sensor until the
desired time is displayed, e.g. 15
minutes.
The set time counts down in minutes in
the time display. The remaining time is
displayed and can be changed at any
time by pressing - or +.
After the set time has elapsed the
display shows 00 and a tone is heard.
After a few seconds the tone stops and
the 00 goes out. To end the tone touch
the m sensor.
