Compensating Blurring After Shooting: Electronic VR
Blurring in pictures shot without electronic VR enabled, and marked with
[illI~~
(electronic VR guide) in full-frame playback mode, can be compensated with
electronic VR after shooting. When electronic VR is applied to pictures after they
are shot, compensated copies are stored as separate files.

Choose the desired picture in full-frame
playback
(~
26) and press
@.
Blurring compensation can only be applied to pictures
marked with 1iIII~~.

Use the multi selector to choose OK and press
@.
Compensated image is created.
To cancel vibration reduction, choose
Cancel
and press
@.
For compensated images, the ~ indicator is displayed in
~
the monitor during playback.

Notes on Electronic VR
In addition to the restrictions described in "Restrictions on Picture
Editing"
(~48),
electronic VR cannot be used for the follOWing
pictures:
• Pictures marked with ~ that were compensated
• Pictures marked with ~ that were not compensated
- Pictures shot with Multi-shot 16
(~
91) or with slow shutter
speeds
- Pictures with date imprint (~ 84)
- Pictures with minor blur, or pictures that are badly blurred.
