CD Output – This stereo RCA output will only output the audio signal from the CD player. Use an

RCA cord to connect to a line level input of a mixer or amplifier.

TT/CD Output – This is the main stereo output of the X2. This stereo RCA connection will output

the audio signal from the CD player or the audio signal from a record, depending on the position of

the TT/CD switch on the top panel. Please use an RCA cord to connect to a line level input of a

mixer or amplifier.

PHONO TT Output - This stereo RCA connection will only output the audio signal when using the

X2 as a conventional turntable. Use an RCA cord to connect to a phono level input of a mixer or

amplifier.

Please note:

The X2 allows you to scratch over a CD while it is playing! Connect the CD output to a line input

on your mixer. Then connect the PHONO TT output to a phono input on another channel of the

mixer. Now begin playing the CD. As the CD is playing, flip the TT/CD switch to TT. Place a

record on the platter and start scratching over the music as it is playing.

Relay Connector - If you wish to use the relay function, plug in your 3.5mm stereo control cables

into here and then into your other CD player. The cable must have a stereo-style plug for the units

to work properly.

Remote Start Connector – Use this connector to plug into your fader-start compatible mixer or

remote switch. This function is always active.

To use this connector for fader-start, connect the supplied fader-start cable to a fader-

start compatible mixer. Every time you move the crossfader on the mixer to the side

that the unit is on, it will start playing. When you move the fader away from that side,

the unit will stop. Moving the fader back will start playback again.

Foot switches can also be attached to this jack for creative mixing techniques and can be

found in most music shops. Connector plugs are often ¼", so a 1/8" adapter will be

needed for connection. There are also two types of footswitches that will work with this

connector.

is typically used for keyboard sustain pedals.

IEC Power Plug Connector - Plug your supplied power cord in here. Below the power connector

there is a small red switch that is used to set the voltage of the unit to correspond with either

115v/60Hz or 230v/50Hz electrical systems. Make absolutely sure that this switch is set properly

before plugging in the unit or you will damage the internal components. This damage would not be

covered under warranty.
