5 easy steps for a perfect Italian coffee:
Fill the tank with cold water. Never use the machine with an
empty tank. Plug in the power cord and press the On button.
Adjust the coffee spout height to your cup size by
either pulling it down or pushing it up.
Lift the lever and insert a Lavazza A Modo Mio
coffee capsule then push the lever down to close.
Once the coffee cup indicator lights stop flashing and
become steady, press the espresso or espresso lungo
button to start. The machine will automatically stop
once the coffee is ready.
When the coffee is ready, lift the lever and the
capsule will fall into the used capsules container.
Enjoy authentic Italian Lavazza coffee.
The machine switches off automatically after 30 minutes of inactivity.
Quick Coffee Recipes:
Frothing the perfect milk with the Dolce Crema:
Place the whisk onto the mixer rod. Pour cold milk into the
milk frother up to the MAX indicator line. For best results,
use full cream milk. Do not exceed the maximum amount
of 150ml, as it will cause the frothed milk to overflow.
Place the lid back. To close the lid, position it by the spout
first, then press firmly the rear part of the lid until it clicks.
For warm milk frothing, push the start button once until
the light turns red. For cold milk frothing, push and hold
the start button for 3 sec. Until the light turns blue. The
operation stops automatically when the frothed milk is ready.
Once the frothed milk is ready, push the release button,
remove the lid and pour the milk into your cup.

Heating milk with the Dolce Crema:
Proceed as above but remove the whisk attachment before.
Push the start button once, until the light turns red. The
operation stops automatically.
Once the preparation is ready, push the release button,
remove the lid and pour the milk into the cup.
We recommend decalcifying the machine regularly (2-3 months)
using the Electrolux decalcifying solution EPD4 (never use vinegar).
