Pairing Instructions

iKey's BT-80 unit is compatible with any
Apple iOS device that has built in Bluetooth®
functionality.
1. Hold down the "Power" button on the
keyboard until the light flashes red.
2. Hold down the "Bluetooth®" button on the
keyboard until the light flashes blue.
3. Press the "Settings" icon on your Apple iOS
device.
4. Select "Bluetooth®" from the "Settings"
menu (Bluetooth® is the third choice in the
menu).
5. Your Apple iOS device is now in
'discoverable' mode. Initially, the
"Bluetooth®" button on the BT-80 may
give a very short flash, but will then
continue to blink steadily until the unit is
paired with the device.
6. Tap "IKEY Bluetooth Keyboard" from the list
of devices that will appear on your screen.

To charge the keyboard, insert the provided
Micro USB charging cable into the back of the
keyboard and plug the other end of the cable
into a powered USB port on any computer.
The Charging LED indicator will illuminate
orange when charging and will turn off when
fully charged. In a fully discharged state, the
battery takes 5 hours to completely recharge.

With average usage of the keyboard, the
anticipated battery life is eight weeks.

The BT-80 ships from iKey with the internal battery
using the BT-80 keyboard, then press the
"Enter" key.
