Telephone operation

Call waiting

If you subscribe to call waiting service from your
telephone service provider, you hear an alert
tone when there is an incoming call while you are
already on another call.
Press FLASH to put your current call on hold
•
and take the new call.
Press FLASH to switch back and forth
•
between calls.

Temporary ringer silencing

When the telephone is ringing, you can temporarily
silence the ringer of the telephone base, handset
or pendant without disconnecting the call. The next
call rings normally at the preset volume.
To silence the ringer temporary on a handset:
Press MUTE, CANCEL or QUIET.

To silence the ringer temporary at the
telephone base:
Press /VOL.
•
To silence the ringer temporary on a
pendant (for models with a pendant only):
Press VOL - .
