LP GAS APPLIANCES
Your range and oven,
furnac~,
and water heater operate on
LP gas, while your refrigerator operates on either LP gas or
electricity. Warranty certificate registration cards, service and
operating instructions, and other information are included in
the Owner's Information Kit provided with the motor home.
Keep all information relating to your appliances readily available
for easy reference.
NOTE: Be sure to fill out and mail the warranty registration
cards on all appliances as soon as possible.
It is important to follow carefully all operating and lighting
instructions provided on or near each appliance (or in your
Owner's Information Kit). For the initial lighting of an LP gas
appliance, it may be necessary

To purge a line, open a
burner. Allow time for air to
esc~:~e.
The time will vary depending
on the distance the appliance is located from the LP gas tank.
After several seconds, the gas should ignite and burn steadily.
RANGE AND OVEN
The range and oven in your moter home are provided with a
vent
0'
range hood. The hood f)1ay have a power vent fan.
Always use·the fan when using the oven ouange in order to
ensure.adequate ventilation. When cooking for long periods of
time with a large number of people in the motor home, open a·
window ora roof·vent slightly to increase ventilation.
The range and oven have pilot lights. Refer to information on the
appliance or from the manufacturer for instructions on use. The
ignition control used for the main oven burner may require a
normal delay of a few seconds, before the main oven burner
ignites. If you are sure the pilot is burning, anticipate
approximately five (5) seconds delay for the burner to ignite. IF
IT DOESN'T IGNITE WITHIN FIVE (5) SECONDS, TURN THE
CONTROL KNOB OFF AND CHECK THE PILOT LIGHT OR
THE GAS SUPPLY.
A warning label has been located in the cooking area to remind
you to provide an adequate supply of fresh air for combustion.
Unlike homes, the amount of.lxygen supply is limited due to the
size of the recreational vehicle, and proper ventilation when
using the cooking appliances will avoid dangers of asphyxiation.
FORe ::0 AIR FURNACE
Controls will be on or near the furnace and will include a wall-
mounted thermostat. The furnace will keep room temperatures at
a comlortable level by activating Ian and gas controls as
temperatures inside the motor home vary. Refer to information
9n .Iighting, opera.ting; adjustment; and service on the furnace
case (under the inSide access door).
Portable luel-burning equipment, including wood and charcoal
grills and stoves, must not be used inside the recreational
vehicl.e. The use of this equipment inside the recreational vehicle
. may 'c'ause fires or asphyxlalion.
