Converting data format (Format conversion)

You can convert the motion picture format.
Important
Before using the Conversion Assist Function, connect the
video camera to the computer and use the AC adapter (→19).

Select [Tools] → [Movie] → [Format
conversion] from the menu.
The [Video format conversion] window is displayed.

Select the type of format conversion, and
then click [Next].
Convertible formats
[Converts the 1080/60p videos into AVCHD videos]:
Converts 1080/60p or 1080/50p motion pictures to AVCHD
motion pictures.
[Convert AVCHD and/or 1080/60p videos into
standard videos]:
Converts motion pictures in 1080/60p, 1080/50p or AVCHD
format to MPEG2 motion pictures.

Select a motion picture by selecting its
check box and click [Next].
