About 3D motion pictures

You can record 3D motion pictures by attaching the 3D conversion lens (sold separately) to the video camera.
See the Operating Instructions for the video camera for details on recording operations and other functions.
3D motion pictures are recorded in AVCHD format (side-by-side format).
Important
When viewing 3D motion pictures, be sure to read about 3D
related matters that are provided in the Operating Instructions for
the video camera.

Copying 3D motion pictures to a computer

Tips
When creating still pictures from a 3D motion picture, the videos are
saved as 2D still pictures in JPEG format. (3D still pictures cannot be
created from a 3D motion picture.)
3D motion pictures need to be converted to 2D motion pictures to
upload to the Internet.
3D motion pictures converted to 2D motion pictures become standard
MPEG2 motion pictures. In step
select [Convert AVCHD and/or 1080/60p videos into standard videos].
3D motion pictures can be copied by performing the regular
operation procedure.

A black frame is displayed around the thumbnail and playback
screen of 3D motion pictures.
You can also use the Smart Wizard.
When performing [Copy selected files] (→24), select thumbnails that
have the 3D icon
