Note:
We recommend that you allow GateLock to automatically assign an IP address
to your PC, instead of using a static IP address. However, if you are publishing
a service on the Internet and prefer to assign a static IP address to your server,
the IP address you should use must be between 192.168.253.2 to 192.168.253.99
or 192.168.253.132 to 192.168.253.254 and the subnet mask 255.255.255.0.
7. Click the WINS Configuration tab in the TCP/IP Properties window, and select
Disable WINS Resolution.

8. Click the Gateway tab in the TCP/IP Properties window, and make sure there are
no gateways installed. If there are, highlight every installed gateway and click
Remove until all installed Gateways are removed, as shown in Figure 2-7.
