    (SOHO) networks that use a broadband connection. GateLock protects you from hackers with its powerful firewall features and scans your incoming and outgoing mail using Trend Micro’s market-tested antivirus technology. Your GateLock also serves as a router for your SOHO network that allows multiple computers to share a single broadband connection to simultaneously access the Internet.

However, if you are publishing a service on the Internet and prefer to assign a static IP address to your server, the IP address you should use must be between 192.168.253.2 to 192.168.253.99 or 192.168.253.132 to 192.168.253.254 and the subnet mask 255.255.255.0.

    Configuring GateLock Dynamic IP Address Selecting Dynamic IP address means DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) will be used to automatically assign an IP address to GateLock.
