Waterproof System
All Miele dishwashers are specially de-
signed to shut off the water intake and
drain the wash cabinet in the rare event
of an internal water valve failure.
For this feature to be active, the ma-
chine must be "On" (not necessarily
running), and the door must be closed.
Program sequence indicator

The current step of a wash program is
indicated by a program sequence indi-
cator (14).
Time display (18)
The run time of a program is shown in
hours and minutes in the time display
before a program starts. The "Time left"
indicator will be lit.
The time displayed may vary with the
same program. This is due to the water
inlet temperature at each intake, the
load size and degree of soiling of
dishware being washed.
Each time a program is selected the
electronic unit takes into account the
new conditions and calculates the time
required. This figure is shown in the
time display.

At the end of a program
The "End" indicator will light and 0 will
appear in the time display (18).
^ Turn off the dishwasher.
^ Open the dishwasher door slightly to
allow the dishes to cool before un-
loading.
It is advisable to turn off the water
supply if the dishwasher will not be
used for a period of time (e.g. while
vacationing).
