Starting the Treadmill

Maximum user weight
is up to 120 kg, 18.8 St or 264 lb.
1. Place each of your feet on the side frames located on
each side of the running belt.
2. Clip the safety key onto your clothing and carefully
test the safety key to ensure it will activate in case of
an emergency. See Safety Key in the Safety Chapter
(p. 4) for proper testing of the safety key. Be sure the
string is free of knots and has enough slack for you to
run comfortably with the safety key in place.
3. Press START button.
4. Hold the handrails while you step onto the
running belt and begin walking.
5. Press the SLOW or FAST buttons to change the
treadmill speed at any time. The left display will show
the current speed.
6. Press the STOP key at any time to stop the
running belt.
If the safety key is removed during a
workout, the drive motor power shuts off immediately,
causing the belt to stop.
When a workout is complete, the belt slows down to
stop and a workout review is displayed until you press the
STOP button. The treadmill returns to STANDBY mode.
Contact Heart Rate Indicator
Lightly hold the hand sensors on the handlebar ensuring
that hands are clean. A heart rate will display. Factors that
interfere with heart rate signal:
Hand lotions, oils or body powder
Excessive dirt
Excessive movement
NOTE: Calories and Heart Rate share the same window on
the LCD screen. Calories are always shown on the display,
but for the heart rate you have to hold hand sensors on the
handlebar for display.
USB audio control
To use an USB port you should have all
music files in MP3 format.
1. Connect USB drive into the USB audio
interface control. It will play
automatically.
2. Press SOUND+/NEXT to change to the
next song. Press and hold it to increase
the volume.
3. Press SOUND-/LAST to change to the
previous song. Press and hold it to
decrease the volume.

Stopping the Treadmill

Press
workout session. The treadmill will
smoothly stop and the accumulated
data will be displayed.
Press STOP again to exit.
Emergency dismount:
If you experience pain, feel faint or
need to stop your treadmill in an emer-
gency situation.
1. Hold handrails for support.
2. Step onto the side frames.
3. Pull
Safety key function:
The safety key functions as the emer-
gency stop. In an emergency situation,
remove the safety key from the tread-
mill and the running belt will stop.

Data Readouts

As you exercise, the treadmill keeps
track of the following data:
Time: The total time you have
been working out or time
remaining. Display time as
hours:minutes.
Speed: Your current speed,
displayed in km/h.
Distance: The total accumulated
distance, in kilometres, during your
workout.
Calories: The total accumulated
calories burned during your workout.
Pulse: Your current heart rate.
Heart rate will appear when a
signal is introduced. Use the hand
sensors to display of heart rate.
Play iPhone/iPod/MP3 music
All music files should be in MP3 format. Leave the iPod/
iPhone/MP3 on the desired folder, the treadmill does not
have the option of move through those different folders.
1. Connect iPod/iPhone/MP3 into the headphone connection
using an auxiliary cable.
2. Place iPod/iPhone/MP3 onto the tray.
3. Operate from your own device to change the song and
the volume.
NOTE: There is no iPod/iPhone pin connection.
The iPod/iPhone will not be charge while connected.
