SEMI-AUTOMATIC
LEVELING SYSTEM
EMERGENCY RETRACTING PROCEDURE
WARNING
Do not use this procedure if retraction with the semi-
automatic controller is possible.
1. Be sure no one is in or near the motor home.
2. Be sure all obstacles are removed from under the motor
home.
3. Turn ignition OFF.
4. Shift transmission to NEUTRAL.
5. Set parking brake.
6. Keep all body parts from under the motor home.
7. Loosen jam nuts and screw in manual overrides t, 2, and
3 until firmly engaged. See Figure 6-1.
8. Push in and turn manual oven'ide 4 to the left
(counterclockwise). Release slowly allowing jacks to
retract fully. See Figure 6-1.
WARNING
The motor home will lower onto the chassis suspen-
sion when you pull out MANUAL OVERRIDE 4 ..
9. Return all manual overrides to their original positions.
10. Have the leveling system checked and serviced by an .
authorized dealer.
CAUTION
The suspension air bags (if equipped) may not
reinflate after this procedure. Contact your dealer if
this happens.
