    Safety Instructions - Important Information Safety Instructions – Important Information This page contains important information about the operation, installation location and connection of the unit. Read these instructions carefully before starting to use the unit. Mains cable Make sure that the mains cable (power supply cable) is not damaged. Units with a damaged mains cable must be disconnected from the mains (disconnect mains connector) and repaired by a qualified engineer before setup.

    Software changes/use of applications Any modifications to the receiver software, or the use of applications not provided by Kathrein, will invalidate the warranty! You will have to bear the costs yourself for shipping and repairing any receiver that requires attention due to modifications to the software and use of applications other than those provided by Kathrein!     Receiver features The UFS 922 HDTV twin receiver allows reception of digital satellite TV and radio channels. This receiver can receive both HDTV (High Definition Television) and also conventional TV (Standard Definition Television). The multi-function receiver has two independent reception and signal processing circuits as well as an integral hard disk with a recording capacity of 500 GB.

    TV and VCR connection Connect the satellite receiver (HDMI or alternatively TV Scart socket) and the TV set using an HDMI or Scart cable (see “Connection example”). If your TV is stereo, you can receive the sound in stereo via the HDMI or Scart connection. For system reasons, the same video signals are to be found at the TV Scart socket as at the video cinch output.
