Functioning test
Do not connect sensitive equipment during the test.
To do the test, put into the "OFF" position the main electric switch.
Caution
It is not recommended to unplug the UPS during the tests for electrical
safety reasons. All guards are sized to operate in a TT system. By
unplugging the UPS, the ground connection would be eliminated and
the electric system would become IT, for which the protection devices
are not properly sized.
If the batteries are charged and the UPS works regularly, the
machines connected to it will be properly powered. The UPS works
silently until the battery is almost completely discharged. When the
UPS makes sound at intervals of 1 second, within 3 minutes the
automatic shutdown procedure for the protection of the batteries will
automatically start. Attention: recharge the battery before testing.
