Danger
The central terminal contains a ground connection linked to the main
security conduit. For electric safety reasons, the harmonized European
directives require that one of the two poles of the battery group is put
ashore in TT systems (this rule does not apply in IT and TN facilities).
Connect the negative pole of the other
battery (black cable) to the negative input
terminal of the UPS, marked with the symbol
"-". The two poles of the batteries which
remained free, must be linked together,
creating a circuit in series in order to achieve
the voltage of 24V. If you are not sure, ask
qualified personnel to make the connections
for you.
For the ground connection (required only in
the cases specified by the EC rules), you can
make a jumper between the central clamp
of the terminal "batteries entry" and the
negative pole.
