If you use an Oceanlife Battery Cabinet, connect the central terminal
with the negative terminal marked with the symbol "-". For other battery
packs, make sure that another point of the battery is not already put to
earth, and carefully follow the instruction booklet. If you omit to check
this, you risk short-circuits to the battery, causing serious damage to
the battery itself and danger to the user.
If you are not sure of what you are doing, seek qualified personnel
support.
Caution
DO NOT invert the polarity. Even if the machine is protected against
polarity reversals, you might damage it irreparably.
To do before you put the machine into function
Follow these instructions before you plug in the UPS and the devices
connected.
•
Control the packaging cardboard and its contents. In case you
find damage to the UPS unit, do not plug it in and immediately
contact the shipper or the retailer.

Make sure the device is well ventilated.
•
Make sure the ground wire is connected and is in excellent
working conditions.
•
Make sure all the switches of all devices and batterie cabinet are
in an "OFF" position.
•
Connect the UPS system to an electrical plug using the supplied
serial cable.
Danger
When you insert the plug, the output socket is in tension.
Do not connect any device that may overcharge the UPS or direct
current (DC) loads.
If these rules are not met, they could cause problems during the
power loads.
