2.17 Transferring a Call

For an Announced transfer -
Wait for the User to answer
Announce the transfer
Replace handset or press the softkey <Transfer>
The held call is now transferred
Note: When performing an unannounced transfer, the User will ring for a period of time known as the
transfer timeout. If the call has not been answered within that timeout period the call will return to the
User that attempted the transfer.

2.18 Parking a Call using the soft keys

Unlike a held call, a call that is parked on the system can be retrieved at any User on the system.

Note: The PARK key LED will light indicating the presence of a parked call.

To transfer a call -
Place the existing call on hold
Dial the User to receive the transferred call,

e.g. User 18
For an Unannounced transfer -
Upon hearing ringing tone, replace handset
or press the soft key <Transfer>
The held call will start ringing User 18
To park a connected call using the mouse
keys
Press the <Options> key
t
Select Park Current Call
The call is now parked and can be
retrieved from any other telephone
connected to the system.
