    1 Check that the seat is swiveled and locked in the riding position. 2 Check around the footrest and carriage for any obstructions. If the stairlift does not operate, contact your authorized Savaria dealer. Stairlift emits beeping sound If at any time while the stairlift is not in motion, the unit emits a beeping sound that lasts for approximately 20 seconds, this means that the stairlift is not charging.
