8. Magnatherm is equipped with a zero
governing, negative regulator valve. The
valve throttle should be adjusted only at high
fire, and the offset adjustment is only to be
done at low fire. From the "Home" screen
touch the control icon, then touch "Operation".
On the right side of the screen, touch the
yellow line next to 'Firing Rate'. This requires
the installer level password. you will be
shown the Firing Rate Screen. See Menu 26

9. From here you can manually adjust fan speeds
to set up combustion. Enter the desired High
Fire fan speed (100%). After entering the
appropriate fan speed, select Manual Run in
the "Firing Rate control" section to the left
of the same window, then hit "OK". Once
the Main flame establishes, the control will
run to that newly programmed fan speed.
Once fan reaches the targeted speed, use a
combustion analyzer to dial in the High fire
throttle to obtain the correct cO2, and cO
measurements. (refer to Table 16 For correct
cO2 ranges).
10. Once the High fire CO2 has been reached,
head back to the "Firing Rate" menu, and
enter the desired Low Fire fan speed (25%)
and hit "OK". Use the offset adjustment to
dial in Low Fire cO2.
11. After the setup for High and Low fire have
been completed, head back to the "Firing
Rate" menu, and select "Automatic". This
MUST be done to ensure proper boiler
operation.
