Equalizer Parameters
Equalizer Parameters
client_timeout
This is the time, in tenths of a second, before a client connection is dropped due to
inactivity during the period when a request is being presented. Once a complete request
has been received, other timers come into play.
Mininum:10, Maximum: 1200, Default: 150.
sequence
The generation number of this configuration file. This value is used to keep a pair of
redundant Equalizers synchronized.
connect_timeout
This is the time, in tenths of a second, before a connection from the Equalizer to a back-end
server is timed out. This will not necessarily be reflected back to the client, as other servers
will be tried first to satisfy the request, if available. Only applicable for L7.
Mininum:10, Maximum: 600, Default: 100.
server_timeout
This is the time, in tenths of a second, before the connection to the client is closed due to
the server being unresponsive. Only applicable for L7.
Minimum: 150, Maximum: 2147483647, Default: 9000.
probe_delay
This is the delay, in seconds, between successive high level probes after a successful probe.
Minimum: 0, Maximum: 60, Default: 10.
probe_interval
This is the time, in tenths of a second, between successive server status checks, once a
server has been observed to be failing. Once observed to be failing, the server is place in
purgatory, checked every probe_interval. If it remains failing for strikeout_threshold
probe intervals, it will be marked down and no traffic will be sent to it.
Minimum: 5, Maximum: 250, Default: 200.
probe_timeout
This is the time, in tenths of a second, during which a server with ACV probes defined
must respond, or else the server is marked failing.
Minimum: 10, Maximum: 600, Default: 100.
