Don't   a dd   a nything   t o   t he   w ater.     S easonings,   m arinades   e tc,   s hould   b e   a dded   t o   t he   f ood,   n ot  
the   s teaming   w ater.     T hey   w on't   c irculate   w ith   t he   s team,   t hey   w ill   j ust   c oncentrate   i n   t he  
reservoir,   p ossibly   d amaging   t he   s urfaces   o f   t he   r eservoir   a nd   e lement.  
 
Fit   t he   d iffuser
