IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS To protect against electrical hazards do not immerse the power cord or steamer base in water or any other liquid. Do not use in the bathroom or near any source of water. Do not use outdoors. Always use the appliance handles as some parts may be hot. This appliance creates hot steam which will escape when removing the lid or steaming baskets.

For added safety, electrical appliances should be connected to a power outlet that is protected by a residual current device (RCD), also often referred to as a ‘Safety Switch’. Your switchboard may already incorporate an RCD.

  • Page 5 BEFORE FIRST USE • Remove all packing materials. • Wash all removable parts in warm soapy water, rinse and dry. FILLING Fill the reservoir to max (1.2l). This’ll give you about 60 minutes steaming, enough time for most foods. Don’t add anything to the water. Seasonings, marinades, etc. should be added to the food, not the steaming water.
  • Page 6 COOKING COMPLETED Unplug the appliance. Put the lid on a plate or tray. Lift the baskets off and set them down on plates or a tray. Remove the tray carefully – the juices will be hot, and they may stain if spilt. Empty the reservoir via one of the pouring lips at the sides.
