    Digital Rapids TouchStream Safety Instructions Before you operate this product you will need to make sure you follow certain basic safety precautions. CAUTION Servicing of a chassis sub-assembly shall be performed only by technically qualified persons. Follow these guidelines to meet and maintain safety and product regulatory requirements.

    Digital Rapids TouchStream Checking the Power Cord WARNING Do not attempt to modify or use the supplied AC power cord if it is not the exact type required. The power supply cord is the main disconnect to AC power. The socket outlet must be installed near the equipment and be readily accessible.

    Digital Rapids TouchStream TouchStream Connections Connecting Video and Audio Inputs Your TouchStream unit will have one of three sets of connections available, depending on which model you purchased. Option 1: Analog only Video: One standard definition video channel selected from Composite (yellow) and S-video (black) inputs.

    The TouchStream unit includes a Gigabit Ethernet controller with a standard 8P8C (8 Position 8 Contact) connection, often referred to as an RJ45 connection. Once you have physically connected the TouchStream unit to the network with a cable, you may have to configure the network settings using the TouchStream software.

    If you connect speakers or headphones to the audio output on the back of the TouchStream unit you will be able to monitor the audio input. The stereo pair that you are monitoring will be the pair that is selected on the TouchStream screen (selection indicated by a blue highlight at the bottom of the audio slider).

    From the main Security screen you must enter the Lock Settings password to enable the Lock button. By default the password is touchstream. If you want to change this password touch the Change Password button, enter the current password, enter a new password and touch Set.
