1. Getting started

In just a few minutes we'll show you how easy it is to use
the features of your Sony Ericsson W850i.
1. Insert your SIM card
Insert your SIM card as shown. Make sure the gold
contacts are facing down and the cut-off edge is correctly
aligned.
2. Insert the battery
Insert the battery as shown and fit the cover. The
battery may need charging. A full charge can take up
to 2.5 hours.
3. Turn it on
Press and hold the key on the top of the phone.
Do the same to turn it off.
When prompted, select Normal mode – select Flight mode
only when you don't want the mobile signal activated.
You can access other phone modes at any time by briefly
pressing the key.
4. Insert a Memory Stick Pro Duo™
To enlarge the phone's memory, open the flap on the
top of the phone and insert a Memory Stick Pro Duo™,
until it clicks in place. Push it in to remove it.
