Silicon Image Serial ATA Driver Installation
Install driver during Windows 2000 installation
1. Go to "d:\raid\m5281\floppy \" directory, (assuming that
your CD-ROM is drive d) copy all the files and directory
to a floppy disk.
2. Windows 2000 will start to inspect your hardware
configuration
3. Press "F6" when the message "Press F6 if you need to install a
third party SCSI or RAID driver...." Appear.
4. Press S key to specify additional devices when the Windows
2000 Setup window appears.
5. Insert the floppy disk of driver, then press Enter to continue
6. In the follow-on window of device type, please select " M5281
SATA RAID Controller (Win 2000)" to continue
7. The follow-on interface will list the devices to be installed, in
which " M5281 SATA RAID Controller (Win 2000)" item
should be included.
8. Press S key to specify additional devices
9. In the follow-on window of device type, please select " M5228
ATA RAID Controller (Win 2000)" to continue
10. The follow-on interface will list the devices to be installed, in
which " M5228 SATA RAID Controller (Win 2000)" item
should be included. (If users want to install other devices,
press "S" at this time.) Press ENTER to continue Windows
2000 setup
