REMOVE THE FACTORY RADIO
You will need to remove multiple interior trim components prior to removing the factory radio.
The following steps will help guide you through this process.
2005-2007 Ford Mustang Used As Example Below
Remove Shift Knob Trim
Remove rectangular shift knob trim
Remove Screws For Center Console
Remove 2 x phillips screws on back of console
Remove Center Console
Carefully pull upward on center console
Remove Dash Panels
Remove left/right dash panels from side of radio
Remove OEM Radio from Dash and
Unplug Factory Harness
Remove 6 x 7MM bolts and pull radio trim towards you
And be sure to unplug all electrical connections
