Once a printer is properly installed on the customer's network, daily job programming is done by the end-user
via printer drivers at a connected PC. The flexible Savin CLP37DN/CLP42DN offers a choice of programming
jobs using familiar PCL drivers or the genuine Adobe
available via download from the Savin web site is the XPS driver for Windows Vista.
Network settings and device monitoring tasks are usually managed using a remote software utility like Savin's
SmartDeviceMonitor or Web Image Monitor.
At the device, the Savin CLP37DN/CLP42DN features a large 4-line LCD operation panel that displays the
status of consumables at a glance. For easier operability, it also provides ample room to display job lists,
network settings, and error messages. One of the most noticeable areas of improvement to printer operability
is the addition of the 12-key alphanumeric keypad for the entry of User IDs and passwords in accounts with
security requirements. The following table outlines the functions of the Savin CLP37DN/CLP42DN control
