Tips
•
For the best sound, we recommend connecting the GameCube to an audio receiver or external speakers.
•
If you are connecting your GameCube to the M1 port on the projector, you need the component to M1 adapter. Refer to the Service and Support
web site or the InFocus user guide to reference the video connectivity charts.
•
GameCube does not support high definition. Best video format is 480p (480 progressive).
•
To support a progressive signal, the GameCube Component Video Cable is required.
•
Most GameCube games support 480p.
•
Some GameCube games are created in letterbox format, which shows black bars top and bottom. It is recommended to keep your projector in 4:3
aspect ratio. There are no 16:9 formatted games.
•
Newer GameCube systems do not come with the Digital AV Port for component video connectivity.
•
If your GameCube image is not centered properly, the image needs to be aligned within the GameCube menu. Access the Nintendo GameCube
menu (hold the A Button as the system is being turned on) and select "screen position." You can adjust the screen position to better fit your
projection screen.
•
To enable or disable the Progressive mode on the GameCube, access the progressive scan option by holding down the B Button when the system
is turned on and select "YES" to enable and "NO" to disable, when the progressive scan message appears.
•
Visit the Service and Support web site at http://www.infocus.com/service for further projector support, including FAQs, firmware, user guides and
connectivity information.
