7.5 TESTING SIM CARD OPERATIONS

The SIM card can be tested for proper functioning by sending a Test SMS or by making a Test Call.
The following steps are to be followed for testing the operation of the SIM card:
SENDING A TEST SMS:
1. Click on any button on the keypad of the Voucher Printer to illuminate the backlight of the display and
bring it out of standby mode.
2. Press the GREEN button on the Voucher Printer to bring up the SIM card test menu as shown below.
Select Send Test SMS and press the CONFIRM button.
3. Enter the mobile number to which the Test SMS is to be sent and and press the CONFIRM button.
4. Enter the message to be sent in the SMS Body screen by using the keypad and press the CONFIRM
button to send the SMS.
