1.4 PHYSICAL SETUP

The network needs to be setup as follows:
The WAN interface of the Hotspot Gateway needs to be connected to Internet. The Internet uplink can

be an ISP modem or router and supports both broadband and leased lines.
The LAN interface is connected to a switch which in turn connects to your wired or wireless network.

The COM 1 port on Voucher Printer is connected to the Printer port on the Hotspot Gateway.

Optionally, a PC connected to a laser printer can be used for printing out vouchers and bills if required.

Once all the components are plugged in and powered on, the device can be configured from any wired or
wireless client connected to the network. Steps to access the Web GUI of the device is explained under 1.2 Jaze
Hotspot Gateway.
