understanding channel storage banks

A bank is a storage area for a group of channels.
Channels are storage areas for frequencies. While
a channel can only contain one frequency, a bank
can hold numerous channels.

channels you want to listen to, your scanner
divides the channels into 10 banks (1 to 10) of
30 channels each, a total of 300 channels. You
can use each channel-storage bank to group
frequencies.
