Maintenance
6.1
Maintenance intervals
The Defensor PH15/PH15A can only provide full humidification and purification performance if the
unit is regularly cleaned and the wearing parts are replaced. The maintenance intervals mostly
depend on the load of the ambient air, the water quality and the operating time.
Please consider the intervals for cleaning and replacing the individual components in the table
below as approximate values. If the room air is heavily contaminated the filters must be cleaned/
replaced more often. If the water is very hard the parts in contact with water must be cleaned more
often.

Note: If your unit is equipped with silver ionisation electrodes and if they are worn, slime will accu-
mulate in the base tub and on the centrifuge. In this case replace the silver ionisation elec t rodes.
