1. Press the / button at the
end of the lever. The Cruise
On message appears in
the instrument cluster. See
Instrument Cluster on page 5 8.
2. Get up to the desired speed.
3. Turn the band down to
and then release it. The Cruise
Set To message appears on the
instrument cluster.
4. Take your foot off the accelerator
pedal.
Resuming a Set Speed
If the cruise control is set at a
desired speed and then the brakes
are applied or the
pressed once, the cruise control is
disengaged without erasing the set
speed from memory.

Increasing Speed While Using
Cruise Control
SET
If the cruise control system is
already activated,
Turn the band up to the
position. Hold it there until the
desired speed is reached, then
release it.

To increase the vehicle speed
in small amounts, turn the band
to RES briefly and then
release it. Each time this is
done, the vehicle goes about
1.6 km/h (1 mph) faster.
Reducing Speed While Using
Cruise Control
If the cruise control system is
already activated,
Turn the band down to
the SET position. Hold it
there until the lower speed
desired is reached, then
release it.
To slow down in small amounts,
turn the band to SET briefly
and then release it. Each time
this is done, the vehicle goes
about 1.6 km/h (1 mph) slower.
