RESUME
You can select the resume
playback mode.
ON SCREEN GUIDE
The unit can display "on-
screen guide" icons or
characters on the picture,
which show what is
happening to the disc or the
unit.
AUTO STANDBY
When the unit is stopped for
more than 30 minutes or 60
minutes, the unit enters
standby mode automatically.
AV COMPULINK MODE
This item is provided for use
in the future. Leave it as the
default setting ([DVD 1]).
PARENTAL LOCK
When this option is selected,
pressing ENTER on the remote
control unit brings up to the
PARENTAL LOCK display
shown following. This allows
you to restrict children from
playing DVD VIDEO discs.

This menu allows you to set various system options.
Setting options
• ON
The unit can resume playback of the disc from the
position where play was last interrupted, if the disc is
still in the tray.
• OFF
The resume function is not active.
• DISC RESUME
The unit can resume playback of the last 30 discs
played. The unit retains a memory of the interrupt
positions of the last 30 discs played, even though
they have been removed from the tray.
• ON
"On-screen guide" icons will be displayed.
• OFF
"On-screen guide" icons will not be displayed.
