Parental Lock Setting

Parental lock is a function that allows playback levels for audio or video material to be set depending on the audience.
For example, you can use parental lock to cut graphic scenes from films, or replace them with other scenes that you do
not want children to watch.
Setting Parental Lock [7+ENTER]
While a DVD Video disc is stopped, or no disc is loaded
While pressing 7 (Stop), press [ENTER].

The parental lock screen display appears on the TV screen.

Each press of the button changes the level from 1 (Most restriction) to 8, and "–" (No restriction).
• For example, if "–" is selected the disc can be played with no restrictions.

Press [ENTER].

) moves to [PASSWORD].

Press the number buttons to enter the password, then press [ENTER].
The parental lock setting and password are set, and the arrow (
• The password is four digits comprising of the numbers 0-9.
• If you want to reenter the four digit password, enter a new four digit password before pressing [ENTER].

Press [ENTER] again.
The display returns to the opening screen.
