Microphone and computer

As shown in the example "Computer and stereo system" on page 45, the PC
can also be used as a recording or playback device. Instead of the stereo sys-
tem, you can use a microphone as the source of the audio data.

For this application you need:
Server
Client
dLAN devices
As soon as you speak into the microphone while it is switched on, the audio
data are transferred to the PC via the power supply grid and played back.
Audio using a cinch (RCA) cable. The PC is connected using a MicroLink
dLAN Ethernet or a MicroLink dLAN USB.
On the MicroLink dLAN Audio adapter, use the switches to set the send-
ing channel and the corresponding recording mode.
On the PC, start playback with the MicroLink Informer.
Microphone
PC with speakers for playback or software for recording and
editing the audio data
MicroLink dLAN Audio (1x)
MicroLink dLAN Ethernet or MicroLink dLAN USB (1x)
Connect the PC to the power supply grid using a MicroLink dLAN Ethernet
or MicroLink dLAN USB; connect the microphone via the "Mic" input of
the MicroLink dLAN Audio.
On the MicroLink dLAN Audio adapter of the microphone, use the
switches to set the sending channel, and select recording mode.
On the PC, start playback using the MicroLink Informer.
