About The LEDs On Your Signalboost
The three LED indicators on the front of your Signalboost case show what is hap-
pening with your nano3G AP.

Unit is not switched on.
Unit is powered up normally.
Self-test is running.
There may be a fault with the Signalboost. See the actions
under Troubleshooting on page 14.
If the Power LED stays red, contact your mobile service pro-
vider.
Unable to detect a network. This is usually because there is no
network cable connected, or there is no Internet connection
available.
If the Signalboost is sending large amounts of data, the Ether-
net LED may switch off. If the 3G LED is still green, everything
is OK.
The Signalboost is connected to a network providing a
100Mbps connection.
Indicates activity on the network at 100Mbps speed. That is,
theSignalboost is sending and/or receiving data across the
LAN.
The Signalboost is connected to a network providing a 10Mbps
connection.
Indicates activity on the network at 10Mbps speed. That is,
the Signalboost is sending and/or receiving data across the
LAN.
The Signalboost does not have an IP address. This is a tempo-
rary condition when the AP is switched on.
The nano3G AP is operating normally.
TheSignalboost does not have a connection to your mobile
service provider.
Examples of reasons for this are:
The AP has just been switched on and is in the pro-
cess of connecting to your mobile service provider.
Some part of your home network is switched off or
a cable is disconnected.
Your Internet service is off. Check this by trying to
browse the Internet from a computer.
The 3G LED has other flashing patterns. These may appear
when your service provider is performing routine mainte-
nance on your Signalboost. These may also appear if you have
contacted your service provider for assistance and support
personnel are troubleshooting your Signalboost.
