    '11 • SCM-SM-110 Unit ON/OFF button When the remote controller batteries become weak, or if the remote controller is lost or malfunctioning, this button may be used to turn the unit on and off. Operation Push the button once to place the unit in the automatic mode. Push it once more to turn the unit off. Details of operation The unit will go into the automatic mode in which it automatically determines, from indoor temperature (as detected by sensor), whether to go into the cooling, thermal dry or heating modes.

It can be selected from 10 steps in the range from “OFF 1 hour later” to “OFF 10 hours later”. After the sleep timer setting, the remaining time is displayed with progress of time in the unit of hour.

Note () When the defrost control signal is received, it complies with the fan control during defrosting. Once the hot start is completed, it will not restart even if the temperature on the heat exchanger thermistor drops.
